The Reward of Faith Part 3
Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence [is] fulness of joy; at thy right hand [there are] pleasures for evermore. Psalms 16:11 (Emphasis supplied).
This text expresses the substance of the things we hope for, which is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. It also lets us know that these two things can only be found in the presence and right hand of God. This is a truth that few people believe and it is also why few experience the 100 fold reward of faith that is to be enjoyed in this life (see Mark 10:28-30).
Our faith has been spoiled by the teachings, philosophies and the traditions of mankind that appeal to our fleshly desires: Desires that cause us to look to and depend on the people, places and things of this world rather than God to find the substance of the things we hope for (see Colossians 2:8-10). But these desires will never be fully satisfied because the joy and pleasures that we long for can only be found in a faith relationship with God: A faith relationship that causes us to have and live by the mindset that the apostle Paul described when he said:
3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ. 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things [but] loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them [but] dung, that I may win Christ, 3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but [this] one thing [I do], forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, 3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. 3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Philippians 3:7-8 & 13-15 (Emphasis supplied).
This is how genuine faith works and all whose faith causes them to live like this will be rewarded with fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore now in this life and in the life to come everlasting life (see Mark 10:28-30).

Next week we start a new series that will supply biblical answers to important questions like:
- How can I identify God’s true church?
- What is the focus I should have to make it in these times?
- How can I recognize and avoid receiving the mark of the beast?
These are some of the questions we are going to be supplying biblical answers to in the next series entitled: Present Truth. You don’t want to miss any of it.
